SAKE BAR GAGA is a japanese in San Diego, California. It is listed at 634 14th St #110, San Diego, CA 92101, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Diego, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

First time here. We opted for the 5 full pairing experience where we get 5 sake with food pairing. See photos. My fave is the Ufumayo and the clam sakamushi. I also really enjoyed the snow crab croquet. It was a very unique experiencing a menu that tailored to a sake selection. We learned alot and tried some very interesting and plentiful sake. It was roughly $100 per person and well worth it.

Amazing place, beautiful experience with magnificent food. People who work there are really knowledgeable and kind. The food is DELICIOUS and affordable!!! Delicate food with sake pairing makes the experience unique. A must try. I don't usually drink but the glass of sake served with the meal made the difference. 100% recommend.

Amazing omakase downtown. Part of a bakery with a hidden bar also on premises. They have things dialed down and all the fish were fresh and well dressed. Nice surprise at the end with dessert and also the pastries to go.

I went there to celebrate my birthday! It was a restaurant with a truly Japanese atmosphere. I was able to relax and enjoy the food, and it was a wonderful experience. I was also surprised at how fresh the fish was. It was delicious. Thank you so much for kindly offering alternative ingredients for my allergy. I would love to go again.

This was a phenomenal omekase experience. Shout out to Miguel, Jason, and the crew. The setting is lovely. A menu listing each course was inviting, and each dish was inventive, beautiful, and tasty. The chefs were highly experienced; watching them was seeing art being created. Honestly, for the experience and number of courses, the price is not bad. Cocktails from Kamon are exceptional. I highly recommend this secret sushi bar and its sister speakeasy (Kamon).
